On May 6th and 7th, 2021, the Center on Democracy and the Armed Forces (NEDEFA) at PUC-Rio held the seminar “Democracy and Armed Forces: interdisciplinary perspectives” (Democracia e Forças Armadas: olhares interdisciplinares).. The seminar, held virtually, marked the launch of the center.

The event gathered researchers from NEDEFA, associated with different departments of PUC-Rio, and external guests.
