Held virtually, the event brought together graduate researchers linked to PUC-Rio&#8217;s research departments and projects, who presented their ongoing research.<\/p>\n<hr>\n<p>The event consisted of four transdisciplinary roundtables.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Panel 1, \u201cMilitary, memory and justice\u201d<\/strong>, was chaired by <strong>Carolina de Campos Melo<\/strong> (Department of Law\/PUC-Rio) and had <strong>Fernanda Pradal<\/strong> (Department of Law\/PUC-Rio) and <strong>Angela Moreira Domingues da Silva<\/strong> (CPDOC FGV) as discussants. The researchers Kristina Hinz, Maria Carolina Soares, Rafael Oliveira Alves and Tatiana dos Santos Ara\u00fajo presented their work.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Panel 2, \u201cAuthoritarianism, democratization and resistance\u201d<\/strong> , was chaired by <strong>Maur\u00edcio Parada<\/strong> (Department of History\/PUC-Rio) and had <strong>Mario Miranda<\/strong> (Department of History\/PUC-Rio) and <strong>Monica Herz<\/strong> (Institute of International Relations\/ PUC-Rio) as discussants. The researchers Julia de Paula Fran\u00e7a, Maria Alice Albuquerque, Paula Ramalho Atanes and Rodrigo Lauriano Soares presented their work.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Panel 3, \u201cMilitarism: violence and violations\u201d<\/strong>, was chaired by <strong>Kai Michael Kenkel<\/strong> (Institute of International Relations\/PUC-Rio) and discussed by <strong>Ana\u00eds Passos<\/strong> (UFSC) and <strong>Eduardo Svartman<\/strong> (UFRGS). The researchers Caio dos Santos Ara\u00fajo, Gabriela de Assump\u00e7\u00e3o Nogueira, Juliana Sousa Mochel and Victoria Motta presented their work.<\/p>\n<p>Finally, <strong>Panel 4, \u201cMilitarism: expressions and trends\u201d<\/strong>, was chaired by <strong>Ma\u00edra Siman<\/strong> (Institute of International Relations\/PUC-Rio) and discussed by <strong>Adriana Marques<\/strong> (UFRJ) and <strong>Adriana Barreto<\/strong> (UFRRJ).
